Mridul Mehta, PhD

Mridul Mehta is Chief Technology Officer and Head of Computational Research at DaCapo.  

Mridul’s expertise is in algorithms and the application of AI/ML techniques to solve  complex real-world problems. He has been with DaCapo since 2021. Prior to DaCapo, he  spent over 15 years in quantitative finance during which we also served as European head  of equity high-frequency trading for Citadel Investment Group. He serves as advisor to  several AI/ML startups. 

Mridul has a PhD in mathematics (algebraic geometry) from the  University of Chicago and was a research fellow at the Max-Planck Institute in Germany.
